**3/19/20: 9th grade students, now would be a great time for you to make sure all of your requirements for the research paper are completed. This includes the 25 notecards, 5 source cards, and outline. These were all assigned before the unexpected dismissal and were going to be checked the Monday we were due back to school (the 16th). So this is not extra work but work that should have been completed before Monday. Please make sure you are on track so we're not pushed further behind when we do return.

**3/16/2020: Those looking for educational resources during this extended break from school, please go to my "Interesting Web Resources" page and there you will be directed to the Study Island login. Students should know their login information. This is a great resource because it has almost all of the subjects and standards the students might want/need more practice on.

Hello everyone,

I began working at Hubbertville in 2013. I am a certified English Language Arts teacher here and also gained my certification for Library Media in 2016. Hub has been a wonderful place to call "Home"; I enjoy the atmosphere and small school setting. This school and community remind me of growing up around and attending Northside, just up the road a piece, where I currently reside. Living in the Samantha community affords me the opportunity to participate in many of my favorite hobbies like raising, hunting, and showing my Bluetick Coonhounds; hunting deer, doves, raccoons, and other prey; and enjoying the quiet solitude of country living by reading on my front porch and reflecting on the beautiful nature that surrounds me. I hope that through my experiences I am able to connect with my students and help them to see how important having an education and most especially a good grasp on English can be for them. I appreciate the opportunity to be here involved in the Hubbertville community and am proud to call myself a Hubbertville LION!
