My name is Ms. Kathryn Stowe and I'm the Mental Health Service Coordinator for the Fayette County School System. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Development and African Studies. I coninued my educaton at Amridge University where I received my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. I have worked in the mental health field for 11 years working with adults, adolescents, and children. I started my career as a Mental Health Therapist working with Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center as a Substance Counselor. I moved to Atlanta, GA and after receiving my Master's degree I worked as a Social Service Counselor in an acute hospital. I returned to Fayette where I took a position with Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center again working as the Adult Outpatient Therapist in Jasper, AL. I later transferred to the Vernon office where I held the position as Adult Outpatient Therapist, Basic Living Skills Coordinator, and Adult In-Home Intervention Coordinator.
I am the founder of Broken But Restored Ministry and The Queen's shop. I love spending time with family, friends, reading, and traveling to different parts of the world.
