I am originally from Walker County.  I moved to Fayette County in December 1999.  I am happily married to Joshua Northington, and we are proud parents to one son, Cooper, who is a sixth grader at Berry Elementary.  Joshua and I enjoy attending and pastoring Salem Church of the Nazarene, spending time with family, being outdoors with Cooper, following Alabama Crimson Tide athletics, and serving the students of Berry High School.  Other hobbies I enjoy are reading, animals (especially cats), playing piano, and baking.  We have been blessed to serve BHS for 21 years.  Our Cooper was diagnosed with autism at age 3, and while he has made wonderful progress, his struggles with autism often do not allow us to participate in every community or school event, but our hearts are always with the Berry community and BHS.   During the school year, I communicate weekly with parents using the School Status App to send important messages and a weekly schedule containing daily assignments and important dates and events.  I look forward to serving as your child's teacher this year.
