Water Park jobs
Chris Champion will be on campus during break today with applications for employment at the Fayette Water Park. Please stop by and speak to him if you are interested in working concessions or being a lifeguard this summer.
March MADness Park Cleanup
Student Council has organized March MADness. MAD meaning "Make A Difference". There will be several opportunities this month to make a difference at FCHS or in our community.
There will be a PARK cleanup on Sunday, March 26th. 2pm-4pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please see Mrs. Freeman.
Student Council is also collecting donations for hospital busy bags for children. Items such as coloring books, crayons, puzzles, etc. The deadline for donations is March 31st.
Renovations/Break
FCHS will begin prepping the floor for the new tile installation over Spring Break in the multi-purpose space. The vending machines will be moved to the hallways on either side of the multi-purpose space. As a result, this week seniors will have to go to either the Commons or Gym during Break.
Self-Express Productions
Auditions to participate in The Lion King Jr play will be held on March 30 and April 1st. If interested, you can contact Self Express productions.

Drum major/Majorette auditions
Drum major and majorette audition packets and fees are due to Mr. Dobbins by the end of the day on Friday, March 17th. If you need a packet, they are available in the band room.
Volleyball
There will be a volleyball player and parent meeting Wednesday at 5:15 in the Commons.
THE Club Picture
THE Club will take a yearbook picture during break on Wednesday, March 15th. Please wear your black uniform and meet in the library at the beginning of break.
Campus Clean up day
Everyone has the opportunity to help improve our campus from 2:00-4:00 tomorrow as Student Council is hosting a “CAMPUS Cleanup Day”. If you would like to be involved, please sign up with Mrs. Freeman or your 5th block teacher. It’s a great opportunity to help your school and earn some community service hours for your resume!
2023-2024 Scheduling
This week, Mrs. Nolen, Mrs. Canterbury, and Mrs. Sanford will be assisting 9th grade students in Coach Hillis’s classes to register for next year's courses. ONLY current 9th grade students have the option to make course requests at this time. Freshmen should discuss course options with their parents and submit final selections by this Friday, March 17th.
Parking Lot
Students are not allowed to go to the parking lot during break or lunch. Students that choose to leave their assigned area without permission, will be assigned ISS.
Change for Vending
Just a reminder that Mrs. Grocholski will NOT be making change for the vending machines AFTER break. Any student that needs change must take care of that during break.
Tennis
Congratulations to our tennis team for a big area win yesterday vs. Lexington High School. The boys team was 9-0 while the girls won 8-1. Great job Tigers!!
Keep our campus clean!
Teachers and Students, we need your help this week keeping the inside of the building as clean as possible. Mr. Lay and Mr. Howard will be working together outside on the landscaping of the campus.
Please make sure that classroom garbage is emptied as needed and that classroom doors are locked when leaving campus for the day.

2023 Prom Information
The 2023 FCHS Prom is March 31st at Hotel Capstone in Tuscaloosa from 8pm-11pm! All information and forms are posted here.
All students attending prom must be in school until 10:45 am on the day of prom. Students who do not come to school or check out before 10:45 will not be allowed to enter prom.
Grace Baptist Church is hosting an After-Prom Breakfast from midnight to 1am in their fellowship hall. All students who attend prom are invited to attend.
Fayette Junior City Council
Fayette Junior City Council member applications are open! Swing by the office to pick up a form, or scan the QR code on the flyers to access the Google Form. The link is also accessible here. Any students grades 8-12 are eligible to join. It is a GREAT opportunity to give back to your community, gain community service hours, and as an added bonus, it looks GREAT on resumes! Fill out your application today!
