Dr. Jeremy Madden
Dr. Jeremy Madden is a 23-year educator who became principal of Fayette County High School in 2011. He attended the Russellville City Schools and graduated from Russellville High School in the Class of 1993. After beginning college studies at Northwest-Shoals Community College, he transferred to the University of North Alabama where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. He also earned his Master’s and ED.S. degrees in administration from UNA. He completed his PhD from The University of Alabama in 2015. Dr. Madden completed the University of Alabama Superintendents' Academy in 2019. In 2019, He was credentialed in the Certified Instructional Leader (CIL) program offered by CLAS in 2021. Dr. Madden has been the Principal at Fayette County High School since 2012. Prior to this, he was an elementary teacher and assistant principal. Dr. Madden also serves as an adjunct professor for the College of Education at the University of Alabama. He is married to the former Dwan Smith of Fayette.
