    FCHS 2020 Homecoming will be the week of Sept. 28 - Oct. 2.
    The Homecoming Theme is: "Beat The Rona! Beat the Rams!".
    Students pay 5.oo to your grade level representative to work on floats. All students that pay will be excused from class to work on floats the day of Homecoming.
    Dress-up Days:
    Monday: Medical Monday (wear medical gear to support doctors and nurses)
    Tuesday: Unmask Your Colors (Freshmen: Green, Sophomores: Blue, Juniors: Red, Seniors: Yellow)
    Wednesday: Save the Day, Beat Corona! (Superhero Day)
    Thursday: Camouflage the Corona (Wear Camo)
    Friday: Spirit Day (Wear your homecoming shirt)
    The public is invited to attend a Homecoming Bonfire on 10/1/20 at the softball parking lot beginning at 7:30 pm.
    On Friday, Oct. 2 the homecoming parade will begin at 1:20 pm at FCHS and will be downtown around 2:00 pm. For parade entrees please call the school office at 205 932 6313.
    Homecoming Game:
    The week’s festivities will culminate on Friday night as the Tigers face the Northside Rams. The presentation of the 2020 Homecoming Court and crowning of the Queen will be prior to the game at approximately 6:30 pm.
    FCHS looks forward to welcoming back our alumni on Oct. 2, 2020! It is great to be a TIGER!

  • Farm City Essay and Video Contest

    Please see the information below concerning the 2020 Farm City Essay and Video contests. These contests are sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation. FCHS students are eligible to compete in both the essay and video contests at the county level. County winners in each division receive cash prizes. County winners’ entries are submitted to the state level for judging. State winners receive an additional monetary prize, along with their teacher!

    Essays can be submitted via email to rrb0006@aces.edu by no later than 4 PM on October 30, 2020. Students with video entries should complete the online video contest entry form (hyperlink available on the video contest pdf attached) and also email their entry and video link to rrb0006@aces.edu by no later than 4 PM on October 30, 2020 to be eligible for judging.

  • Senior Portraits

    Senior Portrait Makeup day will be Wednesday, October 14th in the FCHS library.  There is a $25 sitting fee.  All seniors must have a tux/drape picture for the yearbook.

    Students driving to campus need to see Mrs. Freeman for a parking pass. All parking passes are $30. Senior painted spots are $50. 

    Students can come by Mrs. Freeman’s room before 1st block, during break or after school.
